Waggle is a review-based website and app for pet owners. The mission of this project is to assist pet owners in meeting the needs of their beloved pets. For them, it would take a few steps to research a place they plan on visiting with their pets when normally it would take a hefty amount of time to look up if it's friendly to bring them along and if the place is well-received for its service.

Once more, Waggle is a resource for pet owners to look up a place and read the reviews of other owners as well as providing their own. When it comes to pets, the theme would be playful and welcoming.
The logo uses a childish font with an outline of a tail the end of the E. The point of the tail is to show how satisfied the animal would be after their experience at the location they went to. Pets can be customers too. Therefore, the theme would be bright and bold colors to show a positive mood, as well as a simple yet stylish sans-serif typeface.
For the logo, it took many attempts and feedbacks to arrive at the final logo. The challenge to this logo is that without any cliche paws, bones, balls and figure-ground animals, it wouldn't be perceived as a logo for pets.
The final logo design, in both color and black and white.
What works well for this logo and logotype is that they can be separated and be applied in many different forms.
The logo by itself.
The logotype by itself.
Both logo and logotype together work as well.
A sticker that can be applied to any door or window of any business to show pet parents that the establishment is friendly to their four-legged member of their family.
The star of the Waggle project, the desktop and app version of the review website. It allows the user to search any pet-friendly establishments near their target location.
On the home page, recommended places nearby are randomized when the user returns to the website as well as recent postings near their location. When they search up a place, they'll be directed to the search results with a map showing the user's range. Once directed to a business/park page, they'll be able to read, write a review, upload pictures, or share to a friend or family member.
iPhone and Android version of the app. Elements are enlarged for easy finger pressing and navigation is simpler. Shortcuts such as phone calls and directions would be done with the tap of a thumb.
